In a large pan or braising pot, brown sausage and turkey (beef or chicken). Drain grease if necessary. Since I used ground turkey, I didn't have excess to drain.
While meat is browning, cook pasta according to directions on the package. Drain.
Clear an area in the center of the pan where the meat is and add the garlic. Stir and cook 1 minute. Add the salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning and stir together with the garlic and the meat.
Add the white wine and cook down until reduced to about half.
Add the tomatoes in their juice, pasta, and parsley. Reduce heat to low and cook 4 to 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and top with fresh basil. Serve immediately.
