This is a moist, flavorful and delicious chicken! A simple spice mix is layered between the skin and chicken allowing for maximum flavor cooked into the chicken.
Make a past with the bouillon, pesto and seasoning. Spread it between the skin and the breast meat of the chicken.
Place chicken in slow cooker.
Cook on low 4 to 5 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours. I cooked a small 2 pound chicken.
*For a 4 pound chicken, cook on low 7 to 8 hours or low 5 to 6 hours.
Notes
