Roasted Strawberries
Roasted strawberries are a delightful way to enjoy this beloved fruit. The roasting process brings out their natural sweetness and adds a depth of flavor that is hard to resist.

strawberries
fresh, washed, hulled, & cut in half

tablespoons
honey
or sugar
½
teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Arrange fresh strawberries in a single row without touching each other.
Sprinkle the honey then the salt over strawberries.
Bake the strawberries for 30 to 35 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let the strawberries completely cool before removing from the pan.
Spoon strawberries and juice over cake, ice cream, cheesecake, or toast. It's good served warm or cold.
To store, transfer the strawberries and juice to a container with a lid. Seal and refrigerate. Store in the refrifor gerator for up to 2-3 weeks.
