Instructions
Brownies
Line a 9x9-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 350℉
Whisk an egg in a small bowl.
In a larger bowl, stir the cake mix, egg, oil, and milk together until just combined.
Stir in the chocolate chunks. Don't overmix.
Pour into your prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350℉
Pecan praline layer
Whisk the egg in a small bowl.
While the brownies are baking, stir together the corn syrup, brown sugar, beaten egg, vanilla, and butter. Stir in the pecans.
After 15 minutes pour the pecan mixture over the brownies and smooth the top.
Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes at 350℉.
Remove and allow the brownies to cool before slices.
