Old Fashioned Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
These cookies are just as delicious as they are gorgeous! Slightly crispy on the outside and gooey and chewy in the center.

Ingredients

butter
1 and ¼

brown sugar

cup
unsweetened cocoa powder
unsweetened, sifted

all-purpose flour

baking powder

teaspoon
salt
⅔
cup
powdered sugar (aka confectioners)
Instructions
In a saucepan, over medium heat, melt your butter.
Remove from heat and add your brown sugar and cocoa powder. Stir until completely blended together. Set aside until cool.
Once cool, add eggs and stir until combined.
Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until the dough is uniform.
Refrigerate the dough for at least an hour.
When ready to bake, preheat your oven to 350ºF.
Place powdered sugar into a shallow bowl.
Roll cooled dough into 1 ½ - 2 inch balls.
Roll each ball around in your powdered sugar until coated.
Refrigerate your cookies for another 30 minutes.
Place your cookies on a greased baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes or until the cookies start to crack around the edges.
Let cool for 5 minutes before removing from the baking sheet and placing onto a wire rack. Enjoy!
