firmly packed

pure vanilla extract

milk or dark chocolate can be used

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9x13 inch cake pan with non-cook spray.
In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs.
Gradually add flour mixture and mix until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans by hand.
Spread dough into the pan. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 22 minutes.
Cool completely before cutting.
