water

long-grain jasmine rice

bay leaf

teaspoon
salt

oil
any flavorless oil

teaspoon
lime zest
1
tablespoon
lime juice
fresh-squeezed

tablespoon
fresh cilantro
chopped, more if you really like cilantro

teaspoon
fresh lemon juice
fresh-squeezed

teaspoon
orange juice
fresh-squeezed
Instructions
In a saucepan over high heat add 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil. Add the bay leaf, rice, and salt. Stir.
Return to a full boil then reduce the heat to simmer. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes without removing the lid.
Remove from heat, leave covered for 5 minutes.
Remove the lid, remove the bay leaf, add the oil, cilantro, and juices. Fluff and mix rice with a fork.
Serve warm.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
