  1. First, this recipe can easily be doubled or tripled.
  2. As well, even though I served these as an appetizer, you can easily toss everything together in a bowl and serve as a side dish.
  3. If you serve as a side dish, throw in some dried cranberries for extra flavor, texture, and nutrients.
  4. Furthermore, I used brie cheese, but you can use any soft cheese. Havarti would be delicious. Also, try mild blue cheese.
  5. You can also use walnuts or almonds instead of pecans.
  6. I get Everything Bagel Seasoning here. However, you can find it at most grocery stores now. As well, you can use salt and pepper to season with.

  1. You stated that this could be tossed together for a side dish. How would that work, exactly?

    1. I’d cut the Brussels sprouts into quarters (or you could shave them) and spread them on a sheet pan. Drizzle them with the oil and cook until they get tender. Pull them out and top with the cheese, seasoning, pecans and put them back in the oven until the cheese melts. Enjoy!

  2. On step 3, I think you meant to remove the sprouts from the oven and top them with brie while the sprouts (not cheese) remain warm, correct? Will try this recipe tonight and serve with a salad and roasted chicken thighs. Sounds absolutely scrumptious! Thanks for sharing.
