Buttery and fluffy, Time Saving Oven Pancakes are not only delicious, but they’re also super easy and quick for busy mornings!
Time Saving Oven Pancakes
This process is easier when you have to make a lot of pancakes for a family get together or party.
As well, you donโt have to monitor the pancakes as closely as when you prepare them on a griddle. There is no waiting, watching, and flipping pancakes with this baked pancakes recipe!
I love that I can mix these quickly and throw these in the oven in the morning. Then they’re ready for me to enjoy in just a few minutes.

Time Saving Oven Pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt 2 T butter in the 8 x 11.5 casserole dish in the oven while the oven is preheating.
- While butter is melting, whisk together the remaining ingredients: flour, sugar, milk, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over melted butter and bake 20 minutes or until the center is set.
- You can insert a toothpick to test for doneness. When stuck in the middle of the cake and it comes out clean the pancake is done. This pancake will not brown on the top so do not use that as an indication of doneness. Remove from oven and place pats of butter on top if desired. Cut with a sharp knife in large squares and serve with maple syrup.

That is such a great idea, with a large family this is perfect
These look delish. I like my pancakes thin so I wonder if putting the batter in a high sided cookie sheet would work? And I find as I get older, I worry about rejection less. Not sure why. Thanks for sharing on Tout It Tuesday! Hope to see you next week.
Love the fact that I don't have to stand over the griddle while everyone is eating.
