Buttery and fluffy, Time Saving Oven Pancakes are not only delicious, but they’re also super easy and quick for busy mornings!
Time Saving Oven Pancakes
This process is easier when you have to make a lot of pancakes for a family get together or party.
As well, you donโt have to monitor the pancakes as closely as when you prepare them on a griddle. There is no waiting, watching, and flipping pancakes with this baked pancakes recipe!
I love that I can mix these quickly and throw these in the oven in the morning. Then they’re ready for me to enjoy in just a few minutes.

Time Saving Oven Pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 Tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt 2 T butter in the 8 x 11.5 casserole dish in the oven while the oven is preheating.
- While butter is melting, whisk together the remaining ingredients: flour, sugar, milk, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over melted butter and bake 20 minutes or until the center is set.
- You can insert a toothpick to test for doneness. When stuck in the middle of the cake and it comes out clean the pancake is done. This pancake will not brown on the top so do not use that as an indication of doneness. Remove from oven and place pats of butter on top if desired. Cut with a sharp knife in large squares and serve with maple syrup.

Well, if it's any consolation, I like your blog quite a bit & the pancakes look great. ๐
These look scrumptious! Having four kids, I need a quicker way to make them.
This looks so much easier than standing at the stove for an hour making individual pancakes ๐ Thanks for sharing with my NO RULES Weekend Blog Party and for the follow. I'm now your newest follower ๐

Stopped in from the Ladies Holiday Link-up!I've been making oven pancakes for a while, too, although I don't use sugar or vanilla in mine and my recipe is slightly different (more eggs and milk, resulting in a very thin batter, making a more dense baked pancake). They're pretty popular in Sweden and can be made savoury, too.Feel free to check out my recipe, if you're interested. :)I use the same batter recipe for making thin crepe-like pancakes too…
Paula,
What an absolutely FAB-U-LOUS idea!!! We usually do pancakes every saturday morning, but lately it's been hard because we have my boys soccer games to get to. This looks so much less time-consuming. I am definitely trying it tomorrow morning!
Also, what a nifty little tool you have on here for printing or saving posts as PDF, I have never seen that option on a blog before and I love it!
Thanks for linking up with us over on Ladies Holiday.
Best,
Tamar
What a great idea! I am definitely going to give this recipe a try soon! Maybe I will be in the mood to make pancakes more often. Thank you for coming over and linking up with us at the very first More Than Mommies Mixer! We are happy to be you newest follower! Have a great weekend!
One thing I hate about making pancakes is that I'm at the stove while everyone is eating. This solves that. Can't wait to try it.
I don't know who rejected you, but you're too beautiful inside and out to allow their pettiness to bother you. Usually I find it's the person rejecting who has issues. Off my soapbox not to go whip up some pancakes.
Paula…these look awesome and I'm giving them a try! I'm always looking for a good quick breakfast! I hope you're not too shy, because you know we are going to meet up one of these days when I come back to Mississippi! Who would reject you? They're missing out!! You have an awesome blog!
Oooh these look good, Paula! And I think we all have a fear of rejection. I think it is human nature. But you know what, just keep your head up and don't worry about what those people say about you or anything you created. What you have is something great. You have a lot of people who love you and your blog! ๐
Julie
I am the exact same way … Fear of rejection sometimes stops me from doing many things. I'm not exactly sure who rejected you (not my business), but many of us love you and your blog. Keep doing what you do and use every experience and post as an opportunity to grow and learn. {hugs}
As far as the pancake … I love the idea of not having to stand over a griddle making pancakes for 7 people ๐ Pinning this to try one of these weekends!
