This is such a great recipe, Love the simplicity!!
Thank you, Layla. I love a good, quick recipe… I’m so impatient ๐
First of all, I love truffles. But also I love Biscoff!!! And now Paula, I love you. ๐
Have a Merry Christmas!!!
You tickle me!!! I just so happen to be the same way and these babies were Crack!!
Paula, You’re so creative; I have to follow a recipe. I’ve never heard of cookie butter. I wonder if the grocers sell it here in Northern VA. These look delicious and love the festive red sugar!
I bet they do, Joan. If MS stores have it surely you guys do! ๐ In Walmart it’s with the peanut butter. Biscoff is the only brand I’ve seen. I bet it would be pretty easy to make it with the Biscoff cookies though. (Which I may try next.) I baked cakes for a restaurant in town for a couple of years and I really kind of learned what I could substitute and still get a good outcome while I was doing that. I got so tired of making the same cakes week after week I got creative.
Oh boy, these could be trouble. I have a cookie butter addiction. I can’t imagine how many of these beautiful truffle I could eat in day!
So true, Tanya! I hid them from the family…that’s not bad is it?
These truffles are pure genius Paula! I love how pretty they look ๐ I love Biscoff and it’s so hard for me not to eat it by the spoonful but making them into truffles is such a wonderful idea! These would be a sure hit and gone in a flash ๐ Pinning ๐
I totally agree. I made them for my candy trays that I usually give to neighbors, then I didn’t want to give them away! ๐
I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF COOKIE BUTTER, WHERE CAN I BUY IT? REPLY.
The only brand of Cookie butter that I see is Biscoff. In my grocery store it is displayed where the peanut butters and Nutella is. Usually, it has a red lid and white label, but it’s been a while since I bought some so that may have changed. Here’s a link to it on Amazon so you can see the jar. http://astore.amazon.com/camepm-20?_encoding=UTF8&node=8
Not sure where you are and if there is one close by, but Trader Joe’s has Cookie Butter, too. It is very good and made of Speculoos Cookies.
