Strawberry Block Cream Cheese Spread
Can I use low-fat cream cheese ?
You can use regular
Can I use other flavors?
You can use strawberry, blueberry, or cherry pie filling. Trust me, this is my go-to dip and I’ve used all flavors and they have all been popular.
What crackers do you recommend?
I find Townhouse Pita Crackers Sea Salt are sturdy, lightly salted, and don’t have any weird flavors going on that will conflict with the dessert dip.ย For dessert dips, I also like to use graham crackers or shortbread cookies as dippers.
What do you serve it with?
I recommend serving with a pretty appetizer knife.
Can I make this ahead of time?
Yes! Just put it togetherย and refrigerate. Add crackers and garnish, then serve.
What else can I use over cream cheese ?

Straight from the 1970’s! I like to cut the block of cheese into small cubes (use a knife rinsed in warm water after each cut). Leave the cubes in the original shape of the block. Then, for a more savory option, use green or red chili jelly over the top.
