It’s an easy dish to prepare for busy nights but special enough for entertaining. Asian-inspired meals have become popular recently for their bold flavor and easy stovetop preparation and this one is no exception. It has become a favorite with us.

Stovetop Honey Pineapple Pork
Chili Ginger Honey Pork with Pineapple has roots in Asian-inspired cooking, where sweet, spicy, and savory flavors are often combined. Honey and pineapple add sweetness. Ginger and chili bring just a little heat and depth. Pull back on these ingredients if you prefer milder foods. If you want more heat, add extra chili flakes or fresh ginger.
To stretch our food dollar, I like to serve this with basic white rice. And, I love a big glass of homemade lemonade with sweet and spicy dishes.

Searing the pork helps lock in flavor. How long it takes to cook the pork depends on what size your pork chunks are cut. Smaller chunks will cook faster but also may dry out easier.

Stovetop Honey Pineapple Pork Cooking Tips
For the best texture, use a hot pan to sear the pork before adding other ingredients. This keeps the outside crisp and caramelized. If fresh pineapple isn’t available, canned pineapple works fine, but drain it well to avoid too much liquid. For a different flavor, swap honey for maple syrup or brown sugar.
