If you eat as much Tex-Mex food as we do, guacamole is a recipe you need to know how to make. It really enhances tacos, nachos, birria, and salads. Plus, if it’s really good guacamole, I don’t even need chips, I can eat it with a spoon.

I find a lot of restaurants don’t make guac to suit me. As much as I like it, I don’t order it out much. It has to be fresh, thick, and flavorful.

Even though there are a lot of guacamole recipes online, I had to share mind. You’ll love the addition of jalapeno.

Mexican dip in a dark bowl with avocados and jalapenos.

Start by mashing ripe, fresh avocados and adding a pinch of salt and freshly-squeezed lime juice for flavor. Then, finely dice jalapenos and mix them into the dip.

Obviously, you can serve them with tortilla chips. However, healthier options are sliced vegetables. Also, try topping fish or chicken for a low-calorie, high flavor experience.
