Stuffed Smoked Pork Loin
Stuffed smoked pork loin is flavorful and versatile. YOu can enjoy it for lunch or dinner. To make it, you’ll stuff a boneless pork loin with pork sausage. Then cook it on a smoker.
Stuffed smoked pork loin is a great family meal or special occasion option. Serve it with various sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad. It is also a great dish to make ahead of time and reheat, making it a convenient option for busy weeknights.
Big Daddy had the idea for a Stuffed Smoked Pork Loin. It’s just one of those he-man foods. Meat, meat, and more meat!
You don’t need a lot of ingredients for this dish. There are three simple ingredients: Pork loin, sausage, and seasoning. That’s it! However, it does take time. You’ll want to cook it low and slow.
I used a pork loin, not a pork tenderloin. There is a difference, and it’s important here.
This is great to eat alone or in a sandwich.
And, while you’re smoking, you’ll want to make these 3-2-1 Ribs too!
How to stuff it!
We used a 4-pound pork loin and one of the sausages shown above.
I used garlic, cumin, cinnamon, salt, pepper, dry mustard, and chili powder for the rub.
This Pork Rub is also a really good combination of seasonings.
This sausage is going in this pork loin.
Cut a pocket in the pork for the sausage to fit in…
Put the sausage in the loin and close the cut with a skewer.
Put loin on a smoker heated to 250 to 275 degrees.
Look at my sweet doggie, Summer. Muah love that girl!
At 250 to 275 degrees, it took 2 hours to smoke this 4-poundย loin.
Test doneness with a meat thermometer to ensure it is cooked accurately.
I use this meat thermometer, it’s different than the one in the photograph.

Hi,
I have made this stuffed sausage ever since I had it in Budapest. It took me a year to figure out that I didn’t need a 1 1/4″ drill bit to get the hole for the sausage. This is so simple and is so great looking when you serve it. And…It tastes GREAT.
What a fun idea! I’ll make this next week! My husband will love you for it ๐
