Peppermint Cookies and Cream No Churn Ice Cream
We have a family tradition during the holidays every year that I’ve grown to love. It started when the boys were very little. We bundle up nice and warm and go to the park where our city puts on a delightful display of lights. There are numerous themed displays from Disney scenes to contemporary cartoon characters and classic nativity scenes. It is magical. Kids, as well as adults, flock to the opening night to see the beauty of the lights being turned on and hear local choirs sing signaling the start of Christmas festivities. The spark in my boys’ eyes is worth braving the cold and I’m not a fan of cold weather!
Our family tradition doesn’t end at the park. We bring the festivities home with a dessert and hot chocolate party. Well, for the boys, it’s more like warm chocolate, but you get it!

Our family holiday tradition is to listen to the Muppets singing while opening presents. Got to love Ms. Piggy & Kermit singing!
We love giving gifts to kids who are less fortunate
We get a little silly over here, we tell the kids that the elves try to steal there underwear so they don’t come out all night! Every year we take one under wear and we put by the skylight make it look like the elves came it works like a charm they never leave there room on Christmas Eve night!
The other tradition is we cut our tree every year
lol, that’s too funny!
Ohhh, you know – my holiday tradition is EATING. Its my time of year to get away with all the goodies ๐
I don’t know if it’s really a tradition, but the kids are allowed to play with their Santa gifts and stocking stuff before getting us up. Everything that has to be unwrapped is off limits until mom and dad are awake!
I am excited to try this recipe. I am sure my son would love it as much as I would! Good luck everyone on the giveaway!
We always open one gift on Christmas eve night.
My holiday tradition has always been having the family over for Christmas Eve. I cook appetizers all day long and that’s what we feast on. In the past I would buy Christmas cookies but this year I’ll make a variety of mini cupcakes.
One of our favorite holiday traditions is decorating the house for Christmas on Thanksgiving evening.
We have so many holiday traditions but I think my very favorite is my hubby reading “Twas the Night Before Christmas” to the girls on Christmas Eve. He’s done this every single year since our oldest was born. ๐
