What is Caprese Salad?
The salad is named after the island of Capri, where it is believed to have originated. Traditionally, it’s an Italian dish of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil. Classic flavors that play off each other beautifully.
When you think a Caprese salad can’t get better, my rendition is full of summer goodness. I used peaches instead of tomatoes and the exchange is terrific!
