One thing I love about this dish is how fast it comes together. To save time, use pre-sliced peppers and onions or prep them ahead. This way, you can focus on cooking without extra chopping.

Keto Fajita Shrimp Dinner Cooking Tips

  • I wrote this recipe for the Air Fryer, but you can also cook on the stovetop. Use a large pan to ensure the shrimp cooks evenly and get a nice sear. Overcrowding the pan can make them steam instead of sauté.
  • Adjust the spice level to suit your taste by adding more or less seasoning. A squeeze of lime at the end adds a bright, fresh finish.
  • Serve this dish alone or over cauliflower rice, lettuce wraps, or low-carb tortillas for a keto-friendly meal. For a family with children, you can serve flour or corn tortillas to them. Keto Fajita Shrimp Dinner is versatile!

FAQs

How do I keep the shrimp from getting rubbery?
Cook shrimp just until they turn pink and opaque. Overcooking can make them tough.

Can I make this ahead of time?
It’s best to cook the shrimp fresh, but you can slice the vegetables and mix the seasonings in advance. This will make assembly much faster when you’re ready to prepare your Keto Fajita Shrimp Dinner.

What’s a good way to store leftovers?
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat gently on the stove to avoid overcooking the shrimp.
