John Daly Cocktail | Spiked Arnold Palmer
What could be better on a hot summer afternoon than a light refreshing mixed drink? This Arnold Palmer inspired cocktail is perfect whether you’re taking a break from a round of golf or sipping cocktails on the patio. As well, it’s easy to make with just three ingredients.
Alternately, you can make it with lemonade and sweet tea vodka.
A John Daly Cocktail is traditionally made with vodka. If you’re feeling a little spunky, try it with a good bourbon! I would recommend Knob Creek, Buffalo Trace, and Makers’ Mark bourbons.
If you want to make the lemonade and sweet tea from scratch, go over to my Arnold Palmer recipe. Then, you’ll simply add vodka to that for a John Daly Cocktail. If you don’t mind store-bought tea and lemonade, I recommend Milo’s Tea and Minute Maid Lemonade or Light Minute Maid Lemonade.

Bourbon is far too sweet. Rye works much better.
๐ฃ I do not like Rye.
