Jalapeno Cheese Pork Tenderloin Sandwich
Smithfield marinated pork and I are besties. You see, we have dinner ‘together’ several times a month! They’re quick and easy. When I’m in Walmart I always grab a couple and keep one on stand-by in my freezer. They cook in 6 to 8 minutes, which makes them perfect for busy weeknights.
There is nothing like making a home cooked meal for the boys since this tenderloin is already marinated. I like the convenience theย marinated products provide. I don’t have to remember to marinate it in the mornings when I have 10,000 other things to do. It’s just ready; perfectly seasoned and expertly marinated every time.

Tips and more
I often grill my Smithfield Marinated Pork and serve the it with vegetables the first night. Then, get creative the next night. If you don’t grill, feel free to roast or saute’ your Smithfield Marinated Pork.
Have you heard about my Encore dishes? Basically, it’s a creative way and creative name for leftovers. My husband doesn’t like leftovers, he does, however, like Encore dishes. I’m so clever! I take a protein and make a completely new dish for the second meal. It saves time and money. Additionally, the Encore dishes usually get better reviews than the first time around.
I grilled Peppercorn and Garlic tenderloin. On the next night, I made a Jalapeno Cheese Pork Tenderloin Sandwich.
Next, Head to your selected Walmart store and purchash at least one of the Smithfield Marinated Pork flavors listed below and make this sandwich. They are priced per pound and average between $8-$11.

This sandwich looks awesome and that melty cheese is to die for!
looks delicious Paula
I love using pork tenderloin in sandwiches.
I loooove those marinated tenderloins. It makes dinner so easy! I usually just throw it in the crockpot and shred it for sandwiches but I’m totally grilling it next time! This looks amazing!
I see I was once again the Typo Queen. I would like to give that title to someone else—Ha. I love the goop on the sandwich. That is what puts it over the top.
I do that plenty, That cheese sauce just makes it! Thanks for stopping by Carol.
Perfectly fab sandwich. I look the goop for the sandwich. Then the pork—–yum yum.
Oh my gosh, this looks like the perfect dinner! Love the sound of your Encore dishes – such a great idea to finish off leftovers and these sandwiches are seriously the best looking us of leftovers ever! Pinning!
Thanks so much Kelly! They were def a hit.
Yesssssss everything about this. I think I just changed my dinner menu for tonight. Holy cow, that looks amazing. Pinned!
Thanks Claire, it’s the cheese sauce that does it for me!
Lol, Encore dishes! I love that! Sounds much fancier than “this is what I am making with last night’s leftovers”! ๐ This sandwich looks amazing, Paula. I am REALLY wishing it was my lunch today…
Exactly, whatever works, of course w/ my husband, I can only get creative about one night, not two.
I love these pork sandwiches. My husband would never eat pork because he married me but then tried pork tenderloin and changed his mind. And he’s gonna love that jalapeรฑo on top too (no doubt he’ll dredge this whole sandwich in Frank’s Red Hot, a local hot sauce that people out here just expect!). I usually buy Smithfield hams and lots and lots of Smithfield bacon, but have never tried their pork tenderloin before. In fact, I actually have 10 packs of Smithfield bacon in my fridge right now (the deal was buy 2 get 3 free at my grocery store) Will have to freeze some but still excited. Who doesn’t love bacon? And ham? And tenderloin. Yum.
thanks so much Laura. I am more like your husband, I didn’t eat alot of meat until I got married.
