Enjoy this homemade Honey Mustard Sauce recipe with a variety of chicken, pork, beef, and vegetables. It’s tangy and creamy and pairs well with most grilled items.
This sauce is super easy to make with ingredients you more-than-likely already have on hand. Homemade is much more economical than store-bought, especially if you eat as much as my family does.
Serve this sauce as a dip with chicken tenders, ย pork skewers, salads, or vegetables. Sweet potatoes and regular russet potato fries are delicious dipped in it. It makes a great sauce for burgers.
HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE
I used Blue Plate mayonnaise simply because it’s the only mayonnaise my husband likes. I also use good quality honey in this recipe. Those two ingredients seem to really stand out. The salad vinegar is tangy, you can use slightly less if you don’t like it as tangy. Using less salad vinegar will also make the sauce thicker. As it is, this consistency is much like store-bought Ranch salad dressing.
Need a little more zing? Add a pinch or two of cayenne pepper to your recipe.
This recipe has a mayonnaise-base and will need to be stored in the refrigerator. It will keep up to 2 weeks refrigerated.
