Homemade Energy Snack Bars are deliciously simple bars for your snack cravings! These simple protein energy balls are very nutritious and delicious.
There are 2 things I really like to do. I like to cook and I like to run. To help myself reach my monthly goals, I bought myself a Fitbit in February and quickly became obsessed with it. I really like to see all those stats for a day. I like to see how many steps I’ve taken and how long I ran. You can record activity and sleep, food consumption, water intake and much more. It syncs to your computer so you can see real-time stats. If you like immediate rewards on your fitness goals, this is the device for you.
To also help you meet your fitness and weight loss goals, I put together my favorite homemade energy snack bars for you. I have this thing for snacking and I do a lot of it. They not only help with sugar cravings but also give you energy and a very good dose of protein. Perfect as a pre-workout or anytime snack!

Love all these healthy snack ideas! With this season of life, my young boys keep me most active. One of these days, they’ll be fending for themselves and not running around getting into and climbing on everything, and then I’ll get back to pilates and walking regularly. ๐
Oh, you’ll keep active with little ones that’s for sure!!
I love quick snacks like these! Thanks for the recipes, I can’t wait to try them. ๐
Awesome! hope you enjoy them!
running three times a week
I am in a seriously workout rut. I need to invest in a good piece of equipment, but I can’t quite pull the trigger! AGGGHHH!
I’ve still been getting my running miles in, but I haven’t been loving it or motivated. I hope this cooler weather helps my state of mind.
I chase after my grandson, am a caregiver for my mother who had a stroke. I work as an office manager at a plant nursery and we are in the middle of setting up our Pumpkin Patch. I have chronic back and neck issues so traditional exercise is hard for me to do. I really would like to have this device to be able to track things on my mother. With Afib, it is hard for me to know what is going on with her heartrate. The afib is what caused her massive stroke and left her unable to speak. I am so afraid we are going to have another episode where she throws a clot and it is going to be worse. She had a heart attack on 8/1.
oh yeah, that would be very useful for her. Good luck!!
I would love to win the fit bit, and I love the recipes I am seeing so far! YUM!!
Thanks so much! Good luck!
I am terrible about not exercising enough, but I have been wanting to get a Fitbit to see if it would make me do more. I love tracking stats and numbers, so it might be motivating for me!
Andi, I bet it would be. I am really goal oriented so I’ll do just about anything to meet a goal.
Lots of yoga and walking!
I have never do yoga, it’s on my list, I think it would help my running. Thanks for stopping by Amy!
I walk the dog 3 miles about 5 days a week and use the XBOX kinnect to dance and workout.
That sounds awesome!
I’m totally a snacker. I need these to keep me away from the SmartPop! I love walking. I try to walk early in the mornings before the kids go to school
That’s when I run too Tanya, otherwise I wouldn’t get it done. Good luck in this giveaway!
