Mixed Berry Smoothie is a yogurt smoothie that’s packed with good-for-you ingredients and takes just a few minutes to make.

I enjoy the combination of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, but you can use all strawberries, etc, if you prefer in your mixed berry smoothie.

This recipe could not be more simple to make. You put all the ingredients in a blender and you have a refreshing mixed berry smoothie!

A mason jar filled with a refreshing mixed berry smoothie, complete with a blue-striped straw and garnished with mint. Next to it sits a bowl of yogurt topped with juicy blueberries, surrounded by scattered berries and sprigs of mint.

Mixed Berry Smoothie

The great thing about this yogurt smoothie. You mix it up, freeze it in individual portions, then all you have to do after a run or workout is pop the frozen portion in a blender and mix it with milk. It’s healthy and much cheaper than buying the packages of the smoothie mix.

Berry Smoothie Tips for Success

Do I have to use frozen berries? Yes, frozen berries make it cold and thick for your mixed berry smoothie.

Do I need to add ice? No, that’s why you’re freezing the berries. Ice will make it watery and affect the texture of the mixed berry smoothie.

What types of milk can I use? You can use any milk that you like. Whole, 2%, or Skim dairy milk will work, as will almond, oat, and coconut milk for your smoothie.

Can I make it without yogurt? You can, but it’ll be slightly different. If you omit the yogurt, use less milk and add 1-2 frozen bananas to maintain the consistency of the mixed berry smoothie.

{Melinda} I was making smoothies before smoothies were cool! ๐Ÿ™‚ Always happy to find new recipes. Mixed Berry smoothies are my favorite. My “go-to” recipe? Organic Mixed Berries, Stoneyfield French Vanilla Yogurt, Flaxseed, Coconut Milk, Water and Organic Raw Honey (1 Tbsp). Delicious! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. This looks awesome – I just pinned it! We are big smoothie fans in this house. My husband usually makes them. I had no idea you were a runner…so am I! Thinking about running a half marathon, but I kind of go with the flow with my running…I never plan ahead. Not necessarily the best plan these days if you want to run fast, but I more do it for enjoyment now than anything else.

  3. Mmm! That smoothie looks tasty! I love your health goals! I’m looking to lose a lot of baby weight from having two in under two years and I love getting inspiration from others! We just started a link party for people to share their heal / fitness advice and to seek advice from others. This would be a great post to link up at Tips and Tricks Tuesdays! Such yummy, healthy recipes! Hope to see you there!

    1. Thank you! I used to only run 3ish every day and decided to bump it up. I do enjoy the feeling I get from running, my husband totally doesn’t get it.

  5. I wish I ran! I need to start exercising, but I can never seem to find the time! Maybe this smoothie would get me in the mood! Looks good!
