EASY BALSAMIC MARINADE OR SALAD DRESSING
This salad dressing is tangy, slightly sweet, and bold. It can be used as a marinade or glaze for proteins. As well, it’s my go-to salad dressing of choice for any salad. I simply find it the perfect flavor and I adore it. It’s especially tasty on Caprese salad.
However, don’t stop at coating your salads only. Try this as a marinade for chicken and beef. As well, it’s good on hamburgers, wraps, and roasted veggies.
In general, the best salad dressings are made with simple ingredients you likely already have on hand.
INGREDIENTS and substitutions
- Balsamic vinegar. Also, you can change the flavor by using aged Balsamic. It has an even deeper flavor.
- Olive oil. Next, try extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, sunflower oil, or canola oil.
- Sugar. Personally, I like brown sugar. However, you can use granulated white sugar. As well, try agave nectar, honey, or maple syrup.
- Salt and pepper.
