Donuts from Canned Biscuits are a quick, easy, and delicious recipe for Cinnamon Sugar Donuts! Hot and fresh donuts that you don’t have to leave the house for and it only takes two ingredients!
Ryder said matter-of-factly this morning, “When I get big, I’m going to have a restaurant where bacon is not a side. I want the bacon to be the main dish!!” That’s my boy!! lol! He then went on to say, “And at my restaurant, I’m not going to pay my people much. I want to keep all the money for myself!” Yep, I don’t have to worry about this one, He’s going to be just fine!
This recipe is beyond simple and absolutely delectable! Two ingredients plus oil for frying is all you need!
These donuts cook up soft and fluffy. Who knew you can fry canned biscuits into an amazing donut? Plus, the granulated sugar coating adds just enough sweetness for breakfast to jump-start your energy levels.
My kids and I can eat the donuts by themselves. You can easily add this Breakfast Casserole for a brunch with friends.
Additionally, grab a couple of cans of biscuits when they’re on sale and you have a rather inexpensive breakfast!

I can’t wait to try all of your donuts. They look amazing!!!!
I used to make these yummy donuts 40-50 years ago when my 6 kids were toddlers. Yes, they had canned biscuits back then! But instead of poking a hole in the middle, I fried them whole and then squirted a little jelly inside, frosted the tops and voila….jelly donuts (bismarcks)
I love that idea, Marlene. My boys wouldn’t go for it, but it would be a great idea for my lady friends.
I think I will make these donuts. They’re surely a lot better than Dunkin’ Donuts and cheaper too…lol. I will use cinnamon sugar to top them.
WOW I could about hug you for this one! My daughter really likes doughnuts, but has a lot of food allergies ( one of which is yeast.) I have been going bananas trying to find a yeast free recipe I could use for her. This is awesome.
I’m so glad to hear that! And it’s so simple too. Hope you enjoy!

My mom made those as a fun Saturday morning treat when I was a kid. Holy guacamole are they yummy when they're still warm and have just the right amount of sugar! I should make them for my kids sometime except I fear I'd inhale all of them myself!
