- 1 – 12 count package Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 2 cups Cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 2 cups Vidalia onion sliced thinly
- 2 – 3-count packs Smoked sausage

- 3 medium green onions sliced
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon bbq seasoning/rub
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375โ
- Slice the rolls horizontally if they aren't already. Place them on a ยฝ sheet pan. Spread a thin layer of cheese, about ยฝ cup, on the bottom rolls and heat in the oven until the cheese is melted. Remove and set aside.1 – 12 count package Hawaiian sweet rolls, 2 cups Cheddar cheese
- Heat a skillet to medium-low and add the oil and onions to the skillet. Cook low and slow about 10 to 12 minutes until the onions are soft and brown. Remove the onions from the skillet.2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil, 2 cups Vidalia onion
- Slice 3/4 of the way through the sausage and 'butterfly' them. Place in the skillet and cook on medium until the sausages are browned. Flip over and brown the other side. Cut the sausage so that they match the size of your slider buns.2 – 3-count packs Smoked sausage
