The pineapple and honey add a natural sweetness to this dish and a nice contrast to soy and ginger. Lime juice brightens the dish and, in my opinion, makes everything better.

Red pepper flakes are optional. They add mild heat, which you can adjust to your preference.

A Brief History of Kabobs

Kabobs have been around for centuries, with origins tracing back to the Middle East and Central Asia. The word โ€œkebabโ€ comes from the Persian and Turkish languages and refers to grilled or roasted meat. Traditionally, kabobs were made using lamb, but over time, different cultures have adapted the method to include chicken, beef, and vegetables.
