I grew up using Success Rice, but had no idea they were still around…silly me! ๐ I have got to check this meal out Paula, it looks delicious!!
Lisa, my parents were old school, we only had ‘real’ rice, I didn’t even know about Success rice until I was in college. My husband was right the opposite, he thought all rice cooks in 5 minutes ๐
I love that you always have a glass of wine in your dinner photos. You’re a girl after my heart for sure! This looks delicious, Paula!
hahaha, I mean it goes with everything ‘cept maybe cereal ๐
Not usually a pork chop fan but I think you won me over with this, Paula!
Thanks, Julie!
I can’t wait to try this, but what is mushroom steak sauce? What brand should I be looking for, and where in the grocery store will I find it?
Hi Teresa. I know, I actually meant to pick up mushrooms, but got the mushroom steak sauce instead and wanted to write the recipe exactly as I made it. I don’t remember the brand but it was right beside the mushrooms in a little 4 oz jar. I will look tomorrow when I go and get the name for you.
Teresa, I decided to look on Walmart’s website and I found exactly what I used. It’s 6 oz not 4 though. This link will take you to the product so you can see http://www.walmart.com/ip/Dawn-Fresh-By-Giorgio-Mushroom-Steak-Sauce-6-Oz/10308570
